Is there parking for big trailers?

Ralph and Kakoo's next door has a large enough parking lot. There is also an access road between Cotton Patch and the hotel where people park their 18 wheelers from time-to-time. The access road has a sharp 90 degree turn at each end so you will most likely want to use Ralph and Kakoo's parking. The hotel parking is not very big-rig accessible.

How much will you spend per person?

Around $15 or so

Are they closed down? Went there the other day to eat and the place was closed and there was tractors like the were digging up the concrete behind the building? Call and just get a busy number???

When 3rd yesterday was the poor service that I've ever gotten in a long long time got the all you can eat catfish they brought me 3 pieces of fried catfish when I ask for some more catfish they brought me one piece only platter We ask for a salad for

Definitely, talk to the manager. It's best to do it during your visit. We go often as they have the best grilled pork chops and service is usually pretty good. When we weren't satisfied, the waitress or manager fixed the issue.

Why is the corn bread getting hard to get?

The cornbread costs a little more plus not everyone likes cornbread, so they bring you the rolls instead and if you want cornbread you have to request it.

Isn't all bacon fried?

Yes, but if you're referring to the new Chicken Fried Bacon appetizer, its breaded before frying. Think fried chicken strips.

What motels are close to cotton patch cafe

Ate at the Lufkin, Tx location tonight and it was really good. The food was hot and fresh and we had a great server. It was a young man named Sean and he did a great job! Keep up the great work!!!

We drove about an hour to get to CP, for the fried green tomatoes! Once again they did not disappoint! We hadn't eaten all day and decided to try the deep fried bacon too! Oh man, was it good! My Husband had a huge burger and I had the chicken fried steak. The food was wonderful but what made our visit even more pleasant was our waitress, Bailey. I must have drank 4 glasses of tea and never had an empty glass! Of course, we had to go boxes and Bailey was so thoughtful she automatically brought us a bag to put our to go boxes in! It's those little things that mean so much. If you go there... ask to sit in her section. I have always had great service there - but today Bailey made our visit even better. They were very busy but she took time to check and take great care of us like we were the only ones there! Great food and great staff! I would give it more stars if I could! Just wish now I would have got that Dr. Pepper Cake to go... wishing I would have tried it!

1st time here and wont be the last either. I had the Country Fried Steak with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. Very delicious and for dessert a warm Dr. Pepper Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. Amazing!! I will definitely be returning to try what other delicious entrees and desserts they offer.

We came to Lufkin for a baseball tournament and decided to eat at Cotton Patch on our way home. Goodness, are we glad we did!! The service was fantastic. Katie was diligent without being intrusive, she was friendly and simply a joy to have has our server. The food was delicious! My friend and I shared the Chicken Fried Duo, mashed potatoes and a salad. It was so good. The portion was so big we brought some home. My husband had chicken fried steak with the jalapeño cream gravy. He said it was delicious. I was asking Katie about the Skillet Cornbread and she brought us a sample. It was heavenly! I would definitely recommend it. When we return to Lufkin we will be returning to Cotton Patch!

My daughter and I ate at Cotton Patch today and our waiter, Sean Amerson was absolutely awesome! He was so attentive and so mannerly. The place was full with it being a Sunday at noon. You would have thought we were the only ones there. The food was excellent, and the service was the best ever!!!!!!!

Awesome people here. Some of the best sweet tea around. Great friendly service. Gave me a swag bag and the WiFi password because I didn’t have great cell service in the building. Will have to come back and bring some other people with me.

I came here after church on Sunday with my family and we had a great experience. We were treated very well from beginning to end. Our server Evelyn was very helpfully on helping us choose items on the menu by telling us prices and her favorite meals. She also made sure we were doing fine and kept our drinks full. We’ll be visiting again!

We traveled from Conroe to try this restaurant, it was well worth the drive! Sasha was our server and she was awesome! The food was better than we expected! The fried green tomatoes are almost as good as my Mamaws, the chicken fried steak was excellent and huge. We will be back!

Great service! We ordered onion rings, fish, shrimp, okra, porkchops, mashed potatoes, and squash casserole. Arrive early for lunch on a Sunday. As we left, it was very busy. Tables were quickly cleared. Staff was friendly. Our waitress was skilled and attentive. Hubs liked the pork chops with a bite of apple. I deducted a point for limp shrimp and fish that I had to peel the soggy breading from. Onion rings were crispy, but onion was flavorless. There was a hard white something in my first onion ring. Overall, I would go back for the service and a sandwich.

Very good food great service friendly wait staff!! Yvette B was our server! She was so helpful because it was our first visit! The manager brought us a welcome gift with coupons and salt and pepper. I have never had a welcome gift at a restaurant :)

Service was wonderful! We stated that our party had never been there before and the server brought each couple a gift bag..not gonna disclose what was in it, other than it was very nice, and I did take my gift home. We also were gifted a free appetizer for the whole party. If you like southern cooked food, this would be a good choice.

We had to hunt for a parking spot for lunch (Wednesday afternoon) and this is generally a good sign. We were seated quickly to the seat perfect we requested (table not a booth). We were then waited on immediately by a very nice and competent wait staff member. We were brought rolls/cornbread, butter, and drinks whole we looked over the menus. Our order was taken in good time and the wait for the food was reasonable. The food was hot and fresh and tasted great! The lunch portion was more than sufficient. Our wait person was attentive the entire time. I'd go back!

Just ordered with Door Dash yesterday. The food was surprisingly really good and high quality. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the portions. They gave me a child-portion size of sides. Was quite disappointing when I got it. Especially being in Texas and not France in relation to what I paid. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Catfish. Both of which let you choose two sides. Planned on eating them at 2 different meal times, but finished in one setting because the portions were tiny. Probably won't ever order from them again, but if you don't care about spending more money than other places like Cheddar's or Chili's and believe eating less is the goal to a smaller waist, go here! (Craving that Chicken Friend Chicken again lol. But not enough to spend $13 with tiny sides.)

Even when I walked in at the last hour of the night shift, I was well cared for. The service was very helpful with menu selections. The meat entree was freshly prepared. The suggested sides, baked squash and black eyed peas were very flavorful. Overall grading worthy of six stars.
